No - you can't.

To claim a dependent, that dependent must be living with you. They cannot be visiting you. A visitor isn't a dependent.

My question regarding taxes too.....

Hi,

I came into Canada in 2010 for my landing, opened one bank account had a credit card lived here for 7 months, i did not work, when going back closed my bank account and kept the credit card . After one year and more I returned in Aug 2012 and working from september 2012, now I received a T4 from my employer, i have to file taxes now. Now , should i file taxes for 2010, 2011 and 2012, ? Do I also show my income earned during the time period in my home country???? Since, i have to file, who are my best bet to go to in Toronto.
Please, can anyone guide me. Thanks.
