Harrumph! Ours was received 13th August and still no acknowledgement of any kind... What system do they employ in opening mail!?



Don't worry - not having a go at you, really pleased for you! Maybe ours is lengthier. Here's hoping ours is in someone's 'in-tray' now... fingers crossed!!!

Sent our application on November 13, 2018 and arrived November 19th, signed.

Now we wait....hopefully we get an AOR1 in the next 2 months!

Aor is just that they received app on this date and started working on it on this date

My husband is in USA and am in Canada on PR status
I send on July 5th application of spouse sponsorship outland sydney immigration accepted on July 9th it's in system they said but still yet no AOR1 3 months already. Still in wait

I've now linked the application to my CIC GCKey account - the tricks being to remember the difference between SPONSOR and APPLICANT (Sponsor is the Canadian, Main applicant being the spouse, other applicants being family members) and the number of applications is the total INCLUDING the sponsor (so many times I only put '1' as the applicant (me) - but seems it wanted the sponsor too!)

All linked - ready to respond to any messages that come through the portal (medical, biometrics, questions etc).

It was a total of 80 working days between courier delivery date before any response from IRCC.

Patience is key...!

Expect 2 to 3 months, although it could be faster.

We just got our AOR 3 Dec (tho it was dated 29 Nov). It was signed for on delivery on 13 Aug. That's 80 working days for ours. it IS a long wait - and you CAN contact them via the webform to confirm that they have receipt - but that's all you'll get.

Will post again when anything changes on my 'linked login account' where I can track our application.

We are coming up close to christmas, Workers will be needing their holidays. Hopefully they make peoples day and process everyones application as a christmas gift hehe before they go for their holidays....... but noo sadly like everone else those who just submitted must wait patiently like everyone else
