Are you kidding?!! LOL No, no, no, no and NO!

What ever is stylish and hot. Plus mine has diamonds all over and my husband would die before he wears something like that.
Also I have been reading the application again.. and boy do I push the envelope at times! But I think the goal is to get the thing approved right? So when we pick up the PR papers next week, it will be all worth it.

Best,

Ana

We are sending a lot of evidence (I think! haha). About 350 pictures, 200 e-mails, 300 pages of chat (after reducing it a lot!), airline tickets, photocopies of our visas (mine to Canada and his to Brazil), stamps gotten at the Customs, movies, museums, cards (from me to my husband and vice-versa), cards and letters from my friends to me congratulating us for our wedding, e-mails exchange between me and his family, and he and my family, Skype receipt since we don't use calling cards, receipts of my engagement ring and our wedding bands... I think that's all. It was really hard to choose the e-mails and MSN chats because they were so many... We do talk a lot! :)

I would send pictures where one of the spouses isn't present, but not too much, just to show who were in the wedding ceremony. I am sending pictures of my husband and my family, and of me and his family. :)

Regarding emails and MSN msgs.

I had tons and tons and tons of that. Yet I chose to send very few of that. I chose to send some chronological, and also pieces of conversations or emails that showed:

Arguments between us.
Love promises or such things, of course.
Plans for the future!
And some sensual/sexual communication, when things got to xxx, I just put a dark marker over them.

I felt that overwhelming the IO might put them in a bad mood or something. But that is just me. Either or, our application was robust to say the least.

well, i honestly am not with the idea of sending personal conversations,or tons of evidence, look
if ur relationship is real, they have no right to keep you from entering canada, unless you have any security problems.

i personaly sent around 5 pics, couple of letters she sent me,i printed a site she had made to keep me posted with what she is doing in canada, and around 10 western union recipts.

i dont have to send a huge amount of documents, because they will NOT read them nor will they be impressed if they say the tons of evidence u sent, coz you can fake each and every single on of them, from photos to conversations.

the evidence they require is not to see if you two love each other, its just to see you two are maintaining contact.

i met my wife in lebanon, she is lebanese canadain but she has never been to canada,we met in lebanon, and we got married and then she left directly to canada to sponsor me,beacause of the problems her family are causing us because iam muslim and she is a christian.and this is what we wrote, coz it is true.

usually people have problems and need to go into hard interviews incase a canadian born met a pakistani national online and then got married, they wonder if this relation is genuine because its not the classical story where both who live in the same country met at work or thru a common friend and then their relation developed.

anyhow,if you got refused(God phorbid) u will get it thru an appeal and thats it!,unless the IO has proof that ur relations with ur spouse is not true.

also keep in mind that each visa office is different, rabat, cairo, islamabad are one of the worst, damascus is known for their quick processing and low refusal rate.

btw, once an immigration lawyer told me if you send too many evidence you will raise the some doubts.

like one of this forum member said,if you truely love each other and the relationship is true, then no need for a splashy wedding or tons of conversations, the IO will immediatly doubt your relation if u do so,go light and simple.

Anatolia,

Good point! After reading your reply, I realized what I said really didn't make any sense. Women seem to want something with diamonds and platinum (what happened to good old gold???), and I never saw any man wearing those. :p

Talking to some immigration attorneys, they all agreed that the more evidences the couple may have, the better. :)

I really don't really think that Less is better. I think the Better organized and concise the Better:)

And I doubt that most fakers would fake 10 pounds of evidence. Also most people don't want to be apart from their spouses even a Day, much less a PR procedure PLUS an APPEAL!!
No, I say: Do it right from the beginning.

ummm, iam not saying to NOT send evidence or send very little send just a couple of each and thats it.

what am saying about faking the papers, its when someone marries a canadian citizen just to go to canada and then divorce afterwards, ofcourse if ur married for real u wouldnt have to send fake documents coz u already have real ones.

my point here is do not stress so much about it, if the IO thinks your evidence is not enough they will ask for an interview and ask you to bring more evidence with you.

good luck for all.hope we all get our PR soon.
