Thanks Everyone...
I'm the Nic part of NicAnn, My wife (the Ann part
) posted this last night. You're answers really helped. Thanks. Everytime I think we're close to send our app in, more comes to mind.
Our situation is
I am Canadian Sponsor, Ann is American Applicant
Met online (unintentionally) in 2004 - contact through emails and telephone (very little of this is saved, a few emails and a couple phone bills)
Met in person 2005 - spent a week together - really hit it off together
Ann moved closer in 2006 - still in States though but close enough to be driveable
Between 2006 and 2012, hung out, dated, grow closer, fell in love and got married in 2012
during this time, we went on trips which we have pictures for... in 2006, 2007, 3 in 2010, 2012.
9 guests at wedding - Our siblings and a couple other family members. Have pictures.
No honeymoon yet but have tickets for a flight overseas for a spring honeymoon. Have emails from my family in Europe congratulating us on our marriage and inviting us to visit them. Hence the honeymoon there. They have met Ann and spent time with her and have pictures.
Right now... we do not live together.
Ann works every other weekend, so we've visited every other weekend on her weekends off since we've been married... Application has a calendar filled out which shows who visited who on each particular weekend. Includes credit card statements showing one charge at least during visit. Spent Christmas and New Years together. Picture of attendance at extended Family Christmas party and birthday party since married. We're hoping this shows the genuine and continuing part of the relationship. Because she still lives in the States we have no documentation showing joint bank accounts, utilities etc,
What i am concerned about....
1) I'm not into emails... I'd rather talk. So our only emails since Ann moved closer doesn't include romantic relation related stuff. Just stuff that says "Hey, look at this..." or... "This is that web site i was telling you about etc...." ALSO... most other stuff was with Blackberry Messenger. SO I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SEND in this department....
- I have a few emails from people which I've included in other "packets" of info IE: email invitation to go to Europe is in the "honeymoon packet"
We talk on the phone a couple of times a week on average. Other then that we simply catch up everytime we're together.
2) I had to quit my job a month ago (been planning it for a while but was hoping I could hang in there until sponsorship approval- couldn't, stress got too much)... I started my own business and already have a contract for 10 weeks work, which is good in construction. How would they look at this. I have written a letter stating my plans, and abilities and willingness to re-enter the job market if needed. Would this be good enough?
Sorry I was so long-winded.... I was hyper-ventilating...
Do I need to worry about the lack of emails.. and that I just started my business
Again.. thanks everyone..
