Supervisa renewal from inside Canada

Hello everyone.

My mother currently in canada on a supervisa. Her passport will expire in December this year.

She is from Syria.

She is interested to travel for one month mid September to Kuwait to visit my sister and comback

So she has to renew her passport.

Is there anyway i can apply for visa extension from canada before she leave? So i can guarantee her to be able to return ? Or what other options she has for that?

No point in applying for an extension since it won’t be valid if she leaves Canada. As a visitor there is never any guarantee of being able to enter or remain in Canada. As a visitor, especially if she has already had a long visit to Canada, she would be expected to spend more time abroad than a month. Leaving Canada for a month to visit family would be consistent with someone with permanent status in Canada not a visitor.

What do you mean by visa extension? If you need a new visa, you must apply from outside of Canada. There's no option.

If you need a visitor record extension, that should be done while you are in Canada only but that doesn't give you a right to enter if your visa is expired.

An extension only allows her to remain in Canada longer, not to re-enter Canada. There is no way to guarantee she will be allowed to re-enter Canada. That is always up to CBSA.
