Hi can anyone please let me know the affordable insurance company they used for health insurance for supervisa....Manulife, sunlife etc quotes are over$2200 per parent/grand parent

I applied on Feb 21. Still waiting for medical request for my parents. Now with the Easter long weekend it might take another week for any movement.

I paid in full. Manulife did not have any installment options

You need to also budget on the medical cost for them in case they need regular doctor's visit, medication or some check ups.
Insurance will not cover those.

Hi, did you get the medical request yet? I submitted the application on 12th March, and the biometrics was done in the next couple of days; however, I haven't received the medical request yet.
May I please know when it is expected to get a medical examination letter?

Supervisa insurance is just emergency medical insurance and needs to be renewed every year so if you use it one year expect costs to go up or to be denied further coverage. Any routine medical care is not covered. Many people don’t seem to be aware that if parents get sick they are expected to return home for longterm care.

It usually takes 3-4 weeks
You can also give medical upfront and then can attach to your file when requested
