Are you sure you don't need to pay in full? I have seen a lot of people who posted on this forum that they got rejected because they did monthly. Also I remember IRCC website mentioning something about being paid in full.

I did not pay for the year. Insurance says its covered for the year but paid monthly.
Trust me, I got approved in a month.

We have seen many others get refused because they didn’t pay in full for the full year. There seems to be quite a lot of inconsistencies in the topic.

I agree with the inconsistencies. It makes it hard for people who try to find out what is the correct way to apply/the true requirement.

Proof of health insurance
You must provide proof of payment for health insurance from a Canadian insurance company, or an insurance company outside Canada that has been approved by the minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship. More information on approved insurance companies outside of Canada will be available in the coming months.

This medical insurance should

  • be valid for a minimum of 1 year from the date of entry
  • be paid in full or in instalments with a deposit (quotes aren’t accepted)

IRCC actually mentioned this on their website that we can pay in instalments. but i don't understand why would they refuse if someone's paying in installments :(

As per website you have both options , either you can do full payment or pay in instalments

Yeah looks like it but a lot of people are still getting refused with installments. IRCC cant follow their own rules.
