- Applied for mulitple visa on 15th Sep 13
- Got medical request on 3rd october 13
- Got Medical done on 18th Octobber (need to do extra test due to TB)
- Recived passport today 11th Dec 13
- 6 year multiple visa for my grand ma ;D (Done in less than 69 days which stated on their website)

Congratulations. Pakistan is not the easiest jurisdiction to deal with. Don't forget to buy medical insurance so you are not left with paying thousands of dollars in medical bills.

Hello All, I applied for SV for my mother on 26th November 2013 thru VAC Karachi, Since then no news.. anyone applied around same dates ?

Any idea how long it takes to get passport back?

We applied online for Super Visa and they asked for passport on December 9th, 2013. Passport received by CIC on Dec 17, 2013. Have not got it back yet.

Here is timeline

1. Online application on Nov 9, 2013
2. Medical Request on Nov 25, 2013
3. Medical Test done on Dec 3, 2013 (shows as Passed on CIC website)
4. Passport Request on Dec 9, 2013
5. Passport Received on Dec 17, 2013

and still waiting to get it back.

Does CIC update the application status online when decision is finalized?

Some delays could be because of winter holidays etc. Did you apply online? if yes, then you can check status by logging into mycic.

No i applied in person at VAC Karachi, have you also applied recently ?

Trace your application from the application number. Call/Email CHC for query.
Average time for Super Visa from Pakistan is 2-3 months. In your case it is really very long.
Might be there is some kind of error in the application or something else.

Ask them about your case.

I called VAC office they told me that it takes 2-2.5 months to get back and normally december is super slow so i guess wait till end of jan and then contact them.. My app is from end of nov so i guess i hv to wait till feb..

We called help line number of VAc , its on thier website. Basically they saying there been not any real movement in last few weeks so give it a month and so ..

Hi All,

My parents are currently with me here in Canada on Super Visa. Their 2 year entry will expire in Jan. 2015 but the visa is still valid till Oct. 2015. We are thinking if there would be any problem if they visit the U.S. for 15-20 days and then return to Canada. Would the Port Officer create any problems or refuse entry on returning back to Canada in such a short time?

By the Grace of Almighty Allah, we got request to do medicals. My mother is going to have a surgery in a month or so, will it be an issue ? Also, she had a minor surgery few weeks ago as well so you think she should carry all reports or she doesnt need to carry any thing ?
