I applied for my mom visa on 4th sep 2013 , received medical request and passport back on 28th sep 2013.
medical done on 30th sep 2013.
want to know If anybody get the same thing , how you send the passport back?
have to wait of CHC call or letter?

I beleive you will send it back or ask VFS ppl. They will be able to direct you better.

You will get separate request for passport submission after medical if in case you didn't send it in start with the application submission.
Nothing to worry.

Received Medical request for my parents yesterday via Online notification - After calling IOM for an appointment in Karachi, I was given November 1st Appointment which was ridiculas and I had to request them to gave my parents an earlier date and after putting me on hold for 10 minutes I was given October 22nd.. Guess after the Immigration strike, now it seems the doctor's have gone on strike...

Hello, I need some help with super visa

I want bring my parents(mom & dad)to Canada , we are family of 4 and my income for 2012 was 28000 and will not increase so much this year as well, but my brother who lives in UAE and his income more than double than my income , and he is permanent resident of Canada but he don't live here ,

Can I and my brother (who is Canadian resident but not live in Canada) apply together for my parents visa??

Recently, I applied super visa for my mother-in-law from Toronto and Canadian Consulate gave her Visit visa multiple entry until passport expiry date Aug 2015.
I would like to share these timelines to help you understand the processing time in Canadian Consulate in Islamabad.

Received confirmation online -Aug 06, 2013
Request for the passport -Oct 11, 2013 (Did not request for medical)
Passport sent to Islamabad office on -Oct 14, 2013
Passport received -Oct 24, 2013

Hi All,

I am submitting visa application for my mother online. I understand that we do not need to sign any forms as it is done digitally once application is submitted (Correct me if I am wrong). However, in case of representative (Form IMM5476), applicant and representative both need to sign it. Should I print this form, sign, scan and upload?

Also, there is specific item for health insurance upload. Do we need to submit health insurance proof during application submission or it is required at port of entry?

In case health insurance must be submitted now, should I include it in letter of explanation? which says
"Letter of explanation

If you would like to provide more information about your application that you have not already provided, you can attach a letter of explanation to your application."

I am very new to Canada. It's just 3 months now. I want to sponsor my mother on super visa. Here is the scenario.

1) I applied for multiple entry tourist visa in April 2013 for mother but it was rejected due to no letter of invitation or sponsor. It was my stupidity and I accept that.
2) I landed in Canada as PR on 19th July 2013.
3) Got permanent full time job offer in Regina, SK. No probation period. Joined the company on Sept 9, 2013.
4) I got 2 BR apartment here.
5) Got a letter from HR stating that I am on full time permanent employee without any probation period.
6) I meet LICO as I am earning decent here.
7) Want to call mother in December for a month on Super visa.
Cool My mother is a government employee back home in India.
9) My father expired 19 years back. My mother own property, government job and is staying with my sister. My mother's 2 sister also expired long ago. She is having only one brother who is alive.
10) We have sufficient funds to show.

What are the chances of getting super visa based on above criteria?

I have spoken to multiple immigration lawyers and they say you can apply. But one of them says that you can't as you haven't file your taxes yet. Can anyone guide me on this current scenario?

I know this topic has been posted several times on this forum but due to different scenario I am posting again. Any inputs are welcome on this topic.

There wasn't any strike in Islamabad. My mother had medical on 4th of September. She received passport on Sep 14th. She got super visa for 4 yrs. Let me know the length of visa your parents will get

My parents filled a paper application and sent it through TCS, they received medical request through email, however we have not yet received their passports through mail. Just wanted to know if when you receive medical request through email, do you even get the passports or you just have to get your medical done. The medical request form does mention that you need to show proof of identification either passport or NIC. Any help in this regards will be appreciated.

Hi,

I was reading on one of the forums that someone with a similar situation applied for their parents super visa along with only their job letter, pay stubs and bank statements and they got the super visa. I think you stand a pretty good chance. Also when you read the document check list it clearly states NOA or T4 or job letter. The word OR is important here.
It is as per my understanding. If you still have any doubts just wait 2 more months and you can request T4 from your work place and you can also attach that.
