3 months before expiry of new passport or 4 years. Well it took what 15 weeks .

I applied for my mother on December 15, 2011 and haven't heard anything as yet.

This is a question to all who got a medical request. How did you guys get notified? Email/phone call on cell or landline? And who notified you? The CHC or tcs/fedex?

Hi Everyone....I've applied for Parents but i didn't show their ties to home country???

What should i do now?? should i email Canadian high commission and ask them to add few more documents in application or should i wait till decision???

I just applied last week so i m pretty sure they haven't started my parents application yet.

Has anyone thought about purchasing ticket from Pakistan. Do we need a one way or return ticket? Banff, I think you just got the visa, what type of ticket are you planning to purchase? Is a return ticket mandatory? In my opinion it should not be mandatory since the parent can live in Canada for upto 2 years, and these days we cannot get a return ticket with the flight return date of 2 years..... what your views on this???

I got medical request for my father today! AlhamduliAllah.

I had submitted the application on Feb 17.
