can anyone tell me did they apply for their parents super visa online while you are in canada and your parents in their own country? i wanted to apply for my mom who is in india and i am in canada. am i able to do the form online and sign it? or does she have to sign it either online or on paper application?

Yes, you can declare yourself as her representative or authorisation to submit online application in her behalf.

Yes. So I what I did is fill-up everything for my dad and as far as I remember there’s only 1 form that needs his signature so I send that form to him and let him sign it, scan and email it back to me. I didn’t fill-up the additional form and declare myself as a representative but its totally up to you if you like to do so. I still have my application pending as we still have to do the medical.

I got an update 2 days ago
I received a call from VFS 2 days ago that your passport is ready
When i applied for my mom she submitted passport with the application
Anyways she went yesterday and there was a visa stamped on it, but no approval letter is that normal?

I did same thing u can apply online no issues.Only family information form needs to be signed and scan the form and upload it.Make sure you provide your email id so that u will get all communication mails.

I want to start applying for super visa. I created an application for my mother, father, brother and grandmother using a single profile. I answered the questionnaire and I'm wondering why I only have 1 charge for biometrics(170$). Does that cover biometrics for the 3 people who need them for super visa(mother, father, grandmother)?

i applied for my mother super visa and she got passport request..
i noticed that her passport is going to expire in two years , can she send her renew passport to get longer super visa valid till passport expiry..
anybody please help me in this regards.

You can renew pp only with less than 6 months expiry unless there is no blank page left or it’s lost. Super visa is for 10 years, only the visitors visa is till the end of pp expiry.

you have to show minimum cutoff income for the year. Supervisa depends on your financial status not your parents
