Hi
I have some question on this "$100.000" Insurance Cap.

1. Is this accumulative for 365 days? What if I make insurance for less than a year?
2. What if (and if this even possible) someone exceed the cap? I am not familiar with medical treatment rates in Ontario and have no idea how much treatment would fit 100K. In any case, what to do if the bill exceeds 100K?
3. Reflecting question 2. - can repatriation decision be made in order to fit 100K cap? Example: If a person has admitted to hospital and current bill is like 70K, and doctor says most probably it will be 100K more, will they agree on air ambulance to a home country to avoid over-capping? Can I insist on repatriation?

Hi

$100,000 cap is maximum insurance company will pay during the period of Coverage. Any amount above that you will have to pay out of your pocket.

Repatriation cap is about $5000 i am not sure. It will be mentioned on your policy cover. I guess if you think that your medical cost is going to exceed maximum coverage you can fly back your parents to home country.

Hope this helps
