Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents

HI All,

As I am not able to figure out about applying PR for my Parents. I was thinking to apply them with Super Visa first and I have some questions below (please if someone can kindly help in answering would be great)

1. Can I apply for PR to my parents from Canada while they are in Canada on Super Visa
2. What is Super visa I heard that parents can live up to 7 years in one single visit ??
3. There are some enhancements been announced in IRCC website which will be in effect from July 4th

3.a this being said should I or someone should wait until July4th for this new enhancements to get applied?

it is a visitor visa that allows them to visit Canada a longer period of time. They need to pass medicals and need health insurance as they can’t access public health care. They still need to show travel history, ties to home country etc.

3. You can apply now as they will need to complete medicals.

Where do they get travel history from if haven't travelled before? What ties do they want to see for home country? This doesn't holds good for Super Visa. If its a visitor visa you want to really show strong ties to home country !

Hi Guys,

I applied for parent supervisa while my mother was backhome. She still has valid visitor visa so she came to Canada for a few weeks for her birthday and while she was here in Canada she got the biometrics request for super visa. My question is if it will be ok to get the biometrics done in Canada and submit it or will that be an issue? It only states that application should be submitted outside Canada but not sure if biometrics would also have to be done and submitted from outside Canada?
Your help will be greatly appreciated .
