I am a PR holder. My husband is Canadian citizen and he is a student and I have a daughter. I live with my in-laws.

I am going to apply for super visa for my mom. My dad is retired and my mom is housewife. They are from India.
I don't have a job right now. I am on EI which is ending this month. I am pregnant again and this time I want my mother to be here but not just for pregnancy but also to spend time with her granddaughter.

I need advice/help with super visa application.

I have all the necessary documents. The only problem is showing funds and financial support.

Proof of Means of Financial Support:
My mom & dad invested some money and they get monthly income from that. And also dad gets pension but it's not much. What do I have to show for investment? Bank statement? OR a letter from the place where they invested their money on?

Will this be valid? If not please tell me what will do.

Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter:
My brother who lives in Jeddah is willing to support my mom financially till her duration in Canada. He will give a letter which will state that he will be supporting my mom in every way throughout her stay in Canada. He will provide with employment letter, bank statement, annual pay, pay studs.

Will this be valid? If not please tell me what will do.

In the form 5257e it says that have to show funds in CAD, my mom has $1500 CAD in her Indian bank account. Will this be enough?
And also in this form it is asking for employment details which is mandatory to fill. My mom never worked, so what should I write there?

Invitation Letter:
I want her to be here to be with me because its been almost 2 years since I met her. She didn't even got the chance to meet her granddaughter. And my mom will be staying with me and she also have relatives here, so accommodation is not the problem.
What more should I write?

I can show my bank statement that I can support mom, and show my EI.

I will also need a sample of the invitation letter which I might find it in TRV forum.

Purpose of Travel:
I don't know what to show here. I won't be booking tickets or anything because I don't know whether visa will be accepted or not. What else can I provide? Any examples?

Please, help me me out. I really want my mom to be here. I miss her so much.

When are you due? You have to meet LICO for the number of people in your family including your mother. You need to show NOAs, T4s etc. Do you meet LICO? Your brother is not in Canada so it is you who must show proof of funds for support.

Your family must meet LICO as in the requirements. Your brother can provide support but as the citizen/PR you need to meet your financial obligations. You may want to consider having your mother apply for a visitor visa and then she shows her own funds.

She needs to show bank, investment accounts etc. (can be joint with her husband) to show she can afford to come to Canada. She doesn’t book a flight but can screenshot a flight itinerary. There is no set amount but you want to show as much money as possible.

Okay. I guess I can do that. So, another question- How will she take the funds with her to Canada ?

Would add that she must show that she can afford thing like the flight, quarantine hotel and her time in Canada. Canada prefers to see liquid funds although I wouldn't suggest liquidating their investments to travel. In terms of investments are you talking 100K+ or more in the range of 10K? Because you are pregnant she'd also need a quarantine location that is a basement with a bathroom all to herself or you will also need to pay for an airbnb/hotel. Travelling will involve substantial costs so you will have to discuss whether you as a family have these funds if she is approved.

Sorry for the late reply.
She can afford the flight and hotel. She will not be liquidating her investments. She invested her money many years back. What do I have to show for the investment? I mean, what kind of document?
Well, very recently my brother from Saudi has provided her with funds, and now she has total of $11,500 CAD in her bank account. Will my brother need to give letter to show that he has provided her with the funds?

I have all the documents now:
5 months bank statement,
Passport,
Travel History (old passport scan),
Digital photos,
All the forms filled up,
My birth certificate,
Aadhar card,
Voter ID card

And also what should I write in letter of invitation to make it strong enough so that they will accept it? I really want her to be with me.

And also I have another brother in India, can he travel with mom? Accompany her? Is it possible that he can apply for visit visa as well? And he recently got the job.

1. Your brother can apply for a visitor visa. Right now, he would need written authorization to travel and his own funds as well as ties to country.
2. $11k is is all your mother has to show for funds. That shows that she is using all her funds to visit you. If you apply state a short visit because if she has to pay for airfare, 3 day hotel accomodation, 11 day quarantine and other expenses that may not be enough. So her bank statements over the past 5 months show funds over $10k. You can go ahead and see if she is approved.

So, my brother who has provided my mom with funds, does he need to give letter to prove he is the one who gave the money ?
