Dear Torap,

Thank you for this information.

Also let me know after my mother lands in Canada does she have to show the return ticket back to her home contry(India)? for the immigration officer to provide the super visa on passport in Canada?

Am not sure about this.

Since on Super Visa, the Vistor is allowed to stay for a period of 2 years, they may not expect us to book the return ticket 2 years in advance!!
In case if the immigration officer questions, your mom can say that she is planning to book the tickets soon.

Dear Torap,

Thanks a lot . I spoke to VFS. They said its not mandatory.

I am worried about other thing like since my sister migrated to Canada in Jan 2011 and since then she is working as a part time and she doesnt meet the Low Income Cut Off but her husband who has joined her in Canada only in March 2011 falls under that category. Now since her husband has started working only on April 2012, I dont know whether his LICO is applicable here for the super Visa. But he was working in Kenya and was earning in USD. Can he show that he had world Income? and can he still sponsor my mom.

I need this help as I am waiting for my Canadian PR visa(spouse sponsorship). It would be wonderful if my mother joins my sister and travels with me to Canada. She is a widow and there is nobody to take care of her. :(

Regards

Your sister cannot apply now because I heard one need to show two consecutive years of NoA (in your sister's case that is 2011 & 2012) in order to satisfy the LICO requirement.

Hi all,

My mom applied for a super visa based on my invitation. She has now received a medical request and my tax documents. Now the problem is: I arrived in Canada in November 2011. I did not have any job in the year 2011 and have no tax receipts of any kind for that year. And it's not a time to file tax for 2012 and hence no tax receipts. What should I do? I have already sent my latest pay stubs as a proof of employment.

Please advice.

Thank you.

Hi everyone,
Need Help on the above matter urgently. I have also included bank statements during the application.

I am thinking of sending copy of all the pay stubs till date along with the Notice of Assessment from CRA for 2011. Please note that the Visa Office is New Delhi.

Are there any chances of rejection of super visa of my mom because we have been in Canada for only 11 months and our last year's Notice of Assessment show no income details?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

im tryin to apply to bring my dad to canada on a supervisa .does anyone know how much income i need to show im on osap currenlty in college i have one child.does her money count as income . if i was on goverment assistance wuld that count? do i have to be working ?

Just wondering if common-law parents can apply for the supervisa separately or if they have to apply together (if they are coming together). My MIL is <55 so wouldn't require medical insurance, as I understand. I want to apply for her first, and see what the outcome is before we spend $2000 on medical insurance for my FIL.
