yes, I think so. It used to take 10-15 days for a paper application and now a days taking over a month? I think most of them walked off, may 20-30% are working...

I m new to this forum. i m going to apply super visa for my parents(in India) in the coming week. Myself and my brothers family are here in Canada. Usually i used to apply visitor visa for my parents so i dont have idea about super visa.

Can any one give me clear details about super visa.
1.what are the documents required?
2.what is the processing time?
3.proofs required?
4.Medicals?
5.Interview?
6.about the visa extension?
7.financial support ?

kindly pl dont paste any links. Want the reply from ur personal experience.

Did they already have their medical done? Can you please share the timline?

hii I dnt have the exact timeline..but after they applied they got their medical request approx a week after on auj 06 in email, they did medical on 14th auj. 15th auj was national holiday in india..and today morning..they recived sms that their passport has been relesed frm delhi..so hoping for the best

Thanks. I beleive online applications are processed faster. Also, Indian consulate has less wait time than pakistan

My mom recd PGP supervisa on 22nd Aug. Just FYI guys, timelines mentioned below for my mom's supervisa(incase anyone else is applying for their parents/grandparents):

Application Sent:5 July, 2013
Medical request:22 July, 2013
Meds Done: 28 July, 2013
Stamped PP returned: 22 August, 2013

Thanks.....I think it would be much quicker....maybe by this Monday, they should get the PP for sure. Indian Speed Post takes 2 days to deliver exactly at your address anywhere in India.....
