Hey Enzo,
Are your parents in India?

Have you also submitted an application? If so, was it an online or a paper based application? And date month of application?

Not yet, planning to file. My in-laws are in India.

Looks like Enzo's parents are based in Philippines. So wrong yardstick for comparison.
My 2 cents, file a paper application, online applicants from India are looking at 70 days wait time, while paper applicants are being processed way faster.

P.S. Just my observation, don't hold me against it.

How do you get the processing time for paper applications vs online?

If it's is true that his parents are based in Philippines, then according to CIC website the processing time is 116 days. And he got it in a month. India's processing time is 68 days, so 2 weeks? lol

I personally know people from India who have got their super visa in 2 weeks, but they were all paper based applications. My online application has been pending for 1.5 months.

And they all applied recently?

Hey guys, quick question on the insurance.

Do you actually need to pay for the duration of the whole year? Like what if the parent comes for 2 months and goes back to country of residence. Can we stop the insurance payments till they come back to Canada?

Thanks

Yes, you have to pay for minimum 1 year in advance. This is a requirement for Super Visa.

However, if your parents don't get the visa or leave Canada early; you will get the full or partial refund. Check the refund policy before you commit to buy the insurance.

hello I need some help urgently here about applying for super visa.

I applied supervisa for my parents two weeks ago online by filling out form "Use of Representative". Unfortunately my mom broke her foot right after I submitted the application so she can't go to the medical exam. But that's not the only issue. I called the IRCC and agent told me I CAN NOT apply for my parents online unless I am a paid representative (lawyer etc.) and the agent refuse to help me further. Is that true? What's the steps I can take next?

Thank you for your help!
