Had visitor visa, it expired with old passport. So applied for Super Visa with new passport.

Timeline
Application Submitted: July 05, 2022 (New Portal)
Biometric: Accepted previous one
Medical Request: July 30, 2022
Medical Passed: August 16, 2022
Eligibility Review in progress: August 16, 2022
Background Check in progress probably form the same time or from when I submitted the application.
Status: No updates after that

Details
Submitted 1 year travel medical expecting a faster approval based on timelines from June. Updated the insurance start date and sent a webform on Aug 29, 2022.

Does it look normal or could it be lost in the queue? Is there something I can do to move it faster or can I apply for visitor visa in parallel?

Do the previous medical show up in the account? Confirm with the medical centre where you did upfront medicals whether they were uploaded. The letter for biometric and medical are auto generated by the system so it is possible it got generated. But the question is whether your upfront medical was sent to IRCC or not.
I don't think it was sent to IRCC. We received a request from IRCC, and I used the webform to submit their e-medical reports. I have not see a change in the status yet.

When did this 'new' portal happen? Should we reapply? We applied May 13, we are 4 months now and nothing. I am seeing supervisas approved within weeks of submission. WE did medical upfront.
