Super Visa 2021

Hey everyone,
I applied for my mother in July, 2021. Received medical request December, 2021. Completed medicals last week and 2 days later for PPR email. Visa is approved.
My question is regarding the super visa insurance. Once she comes to Canada, will she be asked to show proof of valid on going insurance? I am thinking of changing the insurance that I had taken during the visa process to a different one. Can this be done without any issues?

Yes that's fine you can change the insurance. But please ensure when she lands she has an active insurance.

Logic is the number of applications, the amount IRCC receives is more. They are almost at end stage of every application, but just paused. As soon as 3rd or 4th application is sent - in 1 week they are approved.. I know so many who have got approval this way. If we apply 3rd or 4th time i think even ours will get approved in 1 week. but this seems crazy to me..

Yes but for the same person with same purpose of visit, submitting multiple applications makes no sense to me. Given how much that is working though, time to get the common sense out and just try to get a visa I guess ??? Baffles me completely

For a supervisa, your parents need your sister’s NOAs from CRA to prove LICO income for the number of people in their family including your parents. Her husband’s income/NOAs can be included. Also you need to address the reasons for the past refusal and advice has been given in other threads. Funds was not the reason for the refusal of the visitor visa.

Below is my timeline for my Parents Super Visa. Hope that will help someone.
Applied on old account in Dec 2020
Biometrics in 24hrs.
Offices were closed for collection so waited till Aug 2021 to reopen. Got updated on account in 2 days. Nothing after that.
Reapplied on new Portal: Oct 11, 2021
Got straight PPR on Jan 17, 2022
No additional information requested even the previous medical was expired in Dec 2021. My previous application was withdrawn 2 days prior to PPR.

Totally agree. Am waiting since Mar2021, reapplied new portal 25Oct2021. Old application they withdrew on 29Dec. Still waiting. Next 2 months 1 year completes for supervisa. I think they are expecting me to submit a third one..

Dont worry he recieved his moms passport stamped back with PG1 visa. its their concern that they delayed so much... So medical they wont ask to re-do again.

Totally agree. Am waiting since Mar2021, reapplied new portal 25Oct2021. Old application they withdrew on 29Dec. Still waiting. Next 2 months 1 year completes for supervisa. I think they are expecting me to submit a third one..

And for some people, they get a decision in 3-4 days [ I have heard of *multiple* such cases in Jan 2022. I am happy they got lucky but it makes me feel very sad about the plight of everyone else who is being penalized ]

Thanks.. This is the same status i have for both my parents since December, nothing till now. Lets see..

i asked because old portal medical showed as pass for my father and new portal it says "you do need a medical exam". So i think that does not matter as long as eligibility review is started.

These sections never changed. Only the last part did where they said its approved.

Just want to check if anyone is sending enquiry via webforms on application status, are you getting response valid to your application or default/standard response. I have raised so many webforms, i see standard response , which does not provide any status.

Never once received a response other than automated ones.
