I have no idea about this because my mother also had visitor visa and she was in canada but as per cic requirement applicant must be outside canada so my mom went back and applied.

if you have visitor visa and already in canada, what then?

I had applied for my parents super visa and the timeline is as below:
Applied on: 21st dec, 2021
Biometrics: Were done already when applied previously for Visitor visa
Medicals passed: 17 Feb, 2022
Eligibility: still in progress
Ppr: not yet
No updates since 17th feb. I reached out to MP twice and got only generic response.

Please share your application timeline. Has anybody got ppr who applied in dec 2021 for supervisa ?

Hi guys, some good news.

The eligibility status changed yesterday from "in progress" to "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

Any Idea how long will take for ppr ?

Does anyone know if my mother got passport request and my father did not get it yet, what can I do?
Is there a chance he might get rejected?
Last I heard on their super visa application that everything was cleared and only decision was pending for both.

March 2021 applied they didn’t open file until January 2022 they redid medical April and passed medical in April

So we finally received ppr for my parents yesterday.

Eligibility started: June 8th
BVL and ppr: June 9th.

i meant if you waited to get SV, and went back to Canada on TRV, can you still get SV stamped while inside CAN

I don’t think we can have sup visa while inside canada. Let me know if you know someone whose sup visa got approved or stamped while staying inside canada.

Most recent update, 03 March 2022, Medical check completed JUST for my mom.

UPDATE** 24 May 2022- Medical passed for both parents since the old one was expired after one year
