Not really. I did upfront medical for my parents and it passed after 5 days but still no PPR. It has been almost 20 days now.
Reading what was asked, there is nothing more to do from our end then to wait for PPR.

Hey Everyone,

I applied for my parents' super visa and here are the timelines via IRCC GCKey.

Application Date : 23-Dec-2021 ------ Upfront Medicals
Biometrics completed : 06 Jan 2022
Biometric updated as complete : 08 Jan 2022
Medical Passed: 22-Feb-2022

I reached out to my MP and they emailed "IRCC can confirm that the criminality and medicals have passed. The eligibility has not yet begun. IRCC cannot provide a timeline to completion."

I don't know what else to do. Should I wait? Or just reapply in the new portal?

This is what they do. They swindle you. If you raise a new application, you end up paying but in my case it went from nowhere to getting the passport in less than 2 months. They just need you to re-apply. Atleast i think the probability is greater, because you pay more money and that is visible in the discussions here. It is only you who have to take a decision whether you are ready to forego additional cost and take this to completion based on the need to bring in your parents or loved ones.

i believe supervisa holders needn’t show return ticket at the border, only visitor visa its mandatory(within 6months)

Sorry I should have been more clear. I was thinking of booking two-way ticket to save on price. since booking one way is more costlier.

most airlines only schedule only upto a year, again due to covid n related uncertainties, this is done only for few months.. maybe you can get flexible a ticket ( one which could be rescheduled)

Please note when medical is crossed >1 year - 2 things happen. One Visa stamping occurs ; however at port of entry officer stamps for just 6 months even though its supervisa (PG1). Or when passport is sent for stamping, they dont stamp with reason medical expired, redo medicals.

To be on safer side if medical is expired, please redo so things move smoothly...
So they sent a letter to redo medicals

Yes they gave 30 days time for my parents n laws to redo medical again my parents n laws are going this weekend to get it done weird has anyone else did redo medicals request
yes there are many you got and some did upfront after 1 year passed. IRCC website clearly states medicals are good only for a year. But sad thing these people delay applications and unnecessary work to re-do... They dont bother to consider even if delay was from their part. its better they do and then they will be good...
