As long as the visa hasn't been approved/completed yet, you can update them with any new passport information.

will a new passport be visible among other submitted docs in the account?

hello there guys.how do you add documents to the new portal??iam trying to addnot sure they add themselves because i only see add/change it literally doesn’t show i added one.like it just shows like i just changed the document.

Need some help.
I applied for my father super visa from India on 22nd oct 2021 on new IRCC portal.

We did Medical upfront.
Got biometric request on 23rd Oct 2021.
Biometrics given on 29th Oct 2021.
The problem now is that the biometric status is shown in Applicant summary (under the UCI number).

I can see below information in IRCC portal

• Biometrics number: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
• Date of biometrics enrolment: October 29, 2021
• Expiry date: October 29, 2031

BUT I still see the message
Biometrics

• We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details.

I dont know what should I do.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Thats fine, provided it appears on application summary. Nothing to worry..

Go here and check if biometric appears and shows valid:

Supervisa documents need to be mainly from the one who is inviting from Canada. And yes if your parents have bank statement, property , tax statement- do add in additional..

Hi all, just checking if anyone here being in a similar situation. My parents have a regular visitor visa while their super visa application is in progress as per above timeline. Can they travel to Canada while super visa application is still in progress? If yes and we get the final results while they are here in Canada, would it be possible to get the passports stamped in Canada. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thank you !!

Super visa from India

BVL to PPR was like 1 months time.. Mostly i see BVL and PPR follow together.. Anyways good to know your application was approved.. Hope we get ours soon...

Interesting. IRCC just mentioned one should apply for a super visa outside, but nothing mentioned regarding staying the whole process outside though it makes sence

yes agree, saying this there are people who were in canada when approved and got stamped. May need to provide explanation, that it was submitted while out of canada with some proofs and then should be good

Yesterday my sister did manage to call IRCC and they told as long as they have a valid visitor visa travelling shouldn’t be an issue.And if we get PPR request while they are in Canada we can submit a webform to explain. Also my understanding was parents have to be in home country while submitting the application. Not really sure at this point how to proceed.

it will work, so when your dad entered canada there is stamp on passport , so provide that with the date when supervisa was submitted. explain and say supervisa was delayed and hence he travelled on visitor. so he will be here in canada if supervisa is approved and we need stamping here. I would rather recommend let them know now via webform rather than later post approval.
