ok, this makes sense... as i believe if you are providing justification in LOE, which is genuine, I believe it should be OK...
thanks
From what I read, making changes is OK as long as long as:

- it doesn't affect (lower for sure, raise I'm unsure) your CRS score;
- you explain it in a LOE
- it doesn't create a conflict in your personal, work or travel histories (for instance changing the company name to exact legal entity on e-APR application forms and having a employment confirmation letter that is not updated with the same legal name, in case you prepared the letter in advance)

edit: in your case, have you updated your spouse personal history and make sure the time spent to study for Master Degree is reflected?

2 more queries:

1. In the e-APR, the first page where they ask for details on self and dependents, their is a section for declaring ones parents, siblings and spouse & Child (if they are not part of application)..
If I am the primary applicant, I am mentioning details only of my parents and siblings but not my spouse or child as they are part of the complete application as they will be accompanying me... is this correct?

2. In section for ones travel history where it asks for where you have traveled in last 10 yrs., it also states to let them know if your family member has a travel history as well... is this linked with the above point 1 for parents or siblings travel history along with yours?
Additionally, this section states to provide them travel history for countries visited apart from country of origin or country of residence... In my case country of origin is India and residence is USA... so shall I provide them details on other travels apart from India and USA or shall include atleasr USA?

Thanks

In my case:
- It will not affect my score as adding her education will only increase the score but me selecting No ECA in application shall not count any points ideally and I will explain the same in LOE as well.
- My wife's personal history shows her time spent on Master's degree study...
- Now for work history, in my case, I have been with only one Company but got transferred to it's other subsidiaries in Singapore and USA and the employment letter I have is from the US subsidiary where I work now stating all my tenures in the company in India, Singapore and USA... hope this should suffice..?

Thanks

I am no expert here but I believe that:

1. correct, your spouse and child are already in the application so IRCC have all details anyway. I also did not include my partner in this section. In my opinion, dependents and siblings are two different categories.

2. only the applicants have to provide travel history, as required in document checklist. You must list all travels at best of your knowledge, in any country you visited, whatever the purpose was and whether you have any stamps or not in your passport. For my case, I have quite a lot (more than 30, which is the limit when you fill the online travel history form), so I listed the rest of the travels on an Excel spreadsheet and added it under "travel documents" placeholder of documents to upload.

Yes. Only parents and siblings (no one else) can be added here.

travel history only for husband and wife, not the parents and siblings. not for any kids below 18
OK so next part of question is a little tricky. If its USA and India, then you dont need to show travel between these 2 countries. I can vouch for this since I have already recd PR letter and I didnt show travel history between country of residence and homeland (UAE and India)
But you need to mention when you moved your residence from India to USA, and probably add that to travel history. That would be the only travel I would add to travel history form between India and USA

Thanks

I was also transferred by the same company from Singapore to Japan office and my letter includes the two jobs I had so far with this company.
So I doubled everything: job titles and duties, company addresses, salaries etc... total 4 pages.

I believe they ask for dependents travel history?

Not sure everyone can control and keep track record of all their family members travels.. not under our responsibility. However the dependents are. Just my opinion.

So travel histories for self and spouse will be added to our respective sections only and not in each others' sections, correct?

Also, I have mentioned my USA residences in my address history though and have listed all travels between USA and India too... is it OK to keep or shall exclude as per your suggestion?

Question 1 - Yes, correct.
Question 2 - Upto you. I didnt want to show becoz i had 30 travels atleast between home country and residence country. It was taking up too much of my time (and sucking the life out of me lol). There is no harm in showing travel between USA and India, if you dont show also there is no problem

Basically it comes down to whatever makes you sleep better at night LOL

Hi Mattjp1
I believe so too... i got my ITA in July draw...
Yes it will be good to share notes on our application queries and believe you me, I have loads of them :)

I will surely send you few queries I am stuck on in my application here... or can start a new conversation...

On the other hand, I understand waiting might be a good idea but it doesn't make sense to me to wait for just PCC as I still need to wait for another 60 days before I submit the application and it will further delay my application processing... If I am not leaving any fields blank in the application and provide evidence in LOE, IRCC should not have a problem...

Another idea would be to call IRCC, Canada number but for me, as I am in USA, I cannot reach them... I believe people with Canada number can call them, can you reach them?

Thanks
Hi deepakkhanna1984,

What did you do?
Have you submitted e-APR without PCC?
My PCC is taking time because of festival season and less man power (for Police verification).

Hi Mattjp1,
Have you submitted your e-APR?
I am yet to submit as my singapore PCC is lost due to change in my address... applying for a duplicate PCC now... Also FBI PCC is also pending...

Last date for me is 11-Oct will wait till that time to submit... Do IRCC hold the application till they receive these missing docs?
