hi sorry this topic is a few months old but I wanted to read the study they made called : Canadian Visa Officers and the Social Construction of“Real” Spousal Relationships but it'S asking me to pay for it, anybody has it ? or know where to get it, it seems interesting!

It's the whole thing but I still recommend starting at the DATA & BACKGROUND section first then if you're interested go back and read the other broader research stuff. I guess there were so many hits on this link after posting they decided to put up the paywall on the 1st site's link as surlepalateau mentioned. Happy reading !!

Hi i am Canadian citizen. i am divorce and my husband was my cousin younger than me about 12 years.we got marriage Nov 23 2011. and i applied in J an 2013 after one year.so my case sent to LVO in June 2014. they called for interview yesterday May 26, 2015. my husband had a lot of picture emails phone bills. But visa officer just check the picture and forms marriage certificate etc my husband told her he have some emails prof too . bcz in interview call they mentioned that the need emails ,phone bills but she didnt ask for that end f interview she told to my husband they will inform you in month. my husband ask how was my interview she said she is satisfied our relation ship. she took photocopy of marriage certificate , nikah nama, 4 photo and forms but she dint keep passport. but some body told me if visa is approved the keep passport same time and my ons friend told me its new rule now they ask passport later. so i am so so worried any one know what is that.

this is fantastic! this is the part that scared me the most in our application. my husband and i have been in a relationship for 4.5 years, married for 1 year, and are sickeningly in love with each other i was so paranoid about finding that balance of showing that our relationship is genuine and that we are truly in love without making them think either "oh this is way too gushy and romantic to be true - they've gotta be faking it!" or "this is much too clinical and fact-based for it to be a real relationship." this information is a great read - thanks for sharing!
