Study permit extension approval?

Anybody had their study permit extensions approved recently, without having to do biometrics (as stipulated for in-Canada applicants)? If so, when did you apply?

You should have been able to do bio-metrics in 30 days if you applied in January or February right?

Can't do until the biometrics correspondence letter is issued

biometrics correspondence letter is something to inform you IRCC has received your biometrics data, I guess you mean biometrics instruction letter? It's supposed to be given to you in 24 hours after you submitted your application

Yep, then the other one -Instruction letter. The IRCC agent told me for most candidates the letter will be issued either within 24 hours after application (everyone I know received like that) or in some cases when they are finalizing an application

Does anyone know what is the procedure if the permit extension gets approved? Do you get another study permit by mail or you have to pick it up? I might be moving in a month, so am just curious.

You will get it in a mail. Best would be to update address or have mail forwarding setup.
