Hello everyone,
My friend was in Canada on a Study Permit to learn English and has decided to take some additional college courses again in January 2020. She has everything all set, approval letter to the school and everything else for a Study Permit extension. However she travelled back to her home country to visit her Family in Turkey and will return to Canada on Dec 12 which is also the last day of her prior study permit.
Her application for extension is currently under review and I assume it will be a while before the decision is made. My question is this - can she re-enter Canada without issue as Implied Status on Dec 12 given that is the last day of her prior study permit? The extension was applied for about 1 month ago and she could have all the paper work needed to prove it - I am just concerned that Dec 12 is the last day of the prior permit.
Can anyone help?
edit: I should clarify the date it the top right is Dec 12 - is it valid until the end of that day? Or does that mean Dec 11 is the max date?
