I called many times but the response was always the same, "your application is in process." I haven't contacted MP yet because I'm skeptical about whether they can assist with non-Canadian matters. Therefore, I contacted the embassy of Canada in my country. They told me that they would send a note to the office to expedite the process. The result is still not known.
Contact mp.
I'm a non Canadian and they helped me!

Hi everyone, I am the spouse of the main applicant and we applied on July 15, we are still waiting. I just received an email from IRCC as "Interim Work Authorization", and it basically provides information about being able to work while my application is being processed. However, I already received this implied status document when we submit the application. Does it have any other meaning? Like does it mean that they started processing my application? Thanks

My admission got expired before i could start my studies while I have a valid study permit, would getting a study permit extension be a problem for me since I’m not exactly changing my dli, I was never actively studying

I received a letter - for my wife's SOWP application (including my study permit extension) as I had applied for extension last September.

Interim work authorization

after 157 days, what does this means ? More waiting time ?
