Online, At the VAC or by mail?

Also, I’m having troubles paying for the study permit online, it’s declining my card, I’ve tried all acceptable card, but it’s still declining. What could be the problem ?

In my experience online application is best. Speak to your bank about using your card online, so they can remove any restrictions that may be on it.

I am here offer advise to anyone who is Nigerian and needs assistance in navigating the dangerous waters of Canadian study permit application. Identify what the problem might be and how to possibly over come them.

It would be better to come here before you apply, rather than after you have applied, it might be too late to assist you then. Also, never rush to put in an application, if you are rejected once, your chances of being rejected a second time increases by about 60-70%.

Visa officer reasons was.
1.Am not convinced that you will leave Canada after your studies. """Which I state it clearly on my statement of purpose "" that I will come back after my studies.
2.due to your traveling history, which I knew that I haven't travel for once
3.due your personal assets """am confused because my uncle is sponsoring me , he provided his bank statement which close to #900million , ,wrote a letter for his sponsorship and also a letter from bank that he is the owner of account and am still an undergraduate but though I have a plot of land that the only assets I have. Am just preparing to apply again ,but I just need advice on what to do ,am really afraid but I believe in God ,I must get this one.

The person is a Nigerian from Nigeria. The embassy are not in their peak period, hence the early process time.

Thanks for visiting this thread. I am sorry for responding late, quite pre-occupied with other personal matters. I hope well.

You are applying for a diploma? Do you have a first degree or work experience in this field? At 29 years old? Do you have gaps in your education history, work experience in this field? Are you currently working at all?

Your Letter of Support should be well drafted and signed by your dad, are you married, with kids? Also your statement of purpose should explain any gaps in your academic history, and why you are applying for a diploma at 29. Your having no travel history is a dangerous red flag.

Unfortunately in all, based on the information you have provided, I do not think you have a good chance of getting a study permit approval.

Nevertheless, I could be wrong.
