"It may take up to 2 months before you are notified whether or not your application has been accepted for processing. A decision on your application will be made approximately 40-60 working days from the time your application was accepted for processing by the AINP."

2-3 month processing time... you guys should stop complainning about their "service"....

I already live in canada for 7 years and my office is 200 yards away from the immigration center, I been waiting 5 months already since I applied and heard nothing yet...

Its now taking AB gov triple time for reviewing an application from inside canada than whos outside.

Well, I am perfectly OK with a 3 month or 5 month wait. May be I am getting scarred and immune given that it takes years to see activity from USCIS...

Hello Everyone,

I am sure some of you guys have already gone through medical exam for this program. Can anyone tell me how exactly this is done? Also, how do they check your medical history?

I have applied to the program few days ago. My wife went through mental illness last summer. She is perfectly fine since then. I was wondering is this going to create any problem?

Thanks for your time,

A

Hey,

i am plaing to apply AINP programe. but i have some question, if anybody can help me, will be higly appriciate.

In my Job offer letter, it says Web developer, but i am working as Software QA lead. I have collected my Job verification letter and it says software testing lead. do you think that i might be eligibale for NOC 2283 - which is "Systems Testing Technicians" . if i apply for this NOC 2283- what is the chance to be selected.

Does anyone have applyed for this NOC?

Any help will be higly approcoated

Dear Alberta 1978:

You should put the number as per the H1 Petiton was filed. What you are doing?, Why you are doing?, Why your petition skill and actual work skill are not same? This is for you consulting Boss "Mr. Reddy"
Remember you are on H1 Visa and getting paid as your status is vaild. rest all details Alberta office will get from USCIS office. That's what Alberta office does in their scrutiny. Even in pre asessment you mention your title as "Business Analyst" but when you will recieve the AINP brown invitation packet, in cover letter your occupation will not be as "Business Analyst" but it will be "Systems Analyst and Programmer" because this is the Position for which reddy filed your H1B.. not the Business Analyst. Reality is that if Reddy sent your H1 petition as Business Analyst it will never approve since there is no such designation in eyes of USCIS. So same thing applies in your case. Always mention the designnation as per your H1B Petition. Also DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE TO OVERLAP OR COMBINE VARIOUS SKILLSET!!! like somebody just adviced that you can say that you are Web developer and Systems testing technician and so on... Practically it is possible that during SDLC your are actually working as QA, BA and developer but in Alberta PNP application just mention what H1 petition says. No body is coming from Alberta to see that what web you developed.
I think you can put both the codes in your application. Alberta can decide which code do you fit in.

Have not seen any posts with update on receiving nominations. The last post I noticed was for having received nomination for forms sent to AINP in Nov 25. Any one got nominations for forms sent after Nov 25?
Thanks.

Hi,

Do we need to attach photos when sending the AINP Nomination and also we need to attach only the photocopy of the federal documents not originals.

Photos are not necessary while sending to edmonton, Alberta BUT photos are necessary while sending CIC Buffalo New York. And while you fill the federal forms make a photocopy of forms after filling them. Keep originals at home and send Photocopies to edmonton, Alberta for AINP processing.

I received my Police Clearance Certificate from Indian Consulate at NY. It takes about 30 days. You need to send an application along with a DD and passport.
The link is http://indiacgny.org/php/showContent.php?linkid=205&partid=99&sub=sub4

Since I did not want them to have my passport for a long time (fear of misplacement), I called them and they told me to send notarized copies of passport. But once they receive the clearance from home country then you need to send them the original passport which they will return in 3 days.

Hi Pependri,

Thanks for your reply.

Today i went to Indian Consulate in NY directly and applied in person for PCC application with Photocopies of Passport. They verified the Original Passport and returned immediately. And told me to come with original passport, once they get clearance.

And also i applied Birth Certificate in Indian consulate and they provide an certificate on evening itself. Its quicker than i expected.

Now waiting for PCC from home country and FBI in US.

(AINP 009: Background in Canada and Alberta: Q - 4) Describe your plans for initial settlement in Alberta. For instance, where do you plan to live and what type of accommodation are you are seeking?

(AINP 009: Background in Canada and Alberta: Q - 5) Describe your familiarity with Alberta. For instance, what do you know about its climate, labour market, cost of living, geography, etc.?

Pependri,

Did they call you after 30 days asking you for passport or you called them to get the status?
