::) My husband is a H-1B visa holder, we applied and send all documents in Nov/ 2009, he didn't use any courier, at this moment we haven't received anything yet. I still have the hope that it will take exactly 4 months to get an answer. Could somebody tell me and idea on what could happened. Do we still have to continue waiting? I don't want to make any phone calls other wise the office warns you that your process will be delayed more just to give you any information. And then what happen after they send you a case number. Any help please?

It depends, it may take a little longer, but 4 months is very short.

Give some more time for the office and what is the NOC code he applied by the way ?

Why nobody takes in count the H-4 holders; we are smart human beings also; somo of us can't apply for an H1-B because our profession requires that we come back two years to the school; that's really unfair, sad and discriminatory policy; otherwise, we could be perfectly being productives and working in an area related with what we know to do best. :(

Paper work and all family documentation sent: Nov. 15 2009/
E-mail received today with xxxx-xxx5505 file number ,March 27/2010, requesting documents by April 12/2010; everything it's fine but the H-1B finish in April 24/. We are still waiting for the extension letter, that problably will be coming withing 3 or 4 weeks; if it comes, last year we had to pay extra $300.oo to get the copies sent again, since the USCIS stated already had sent all the letters. That took us about 2 or 3 weeks of waiting. Will the ANP reject our application because of this? The only thing that comes out of our minds is send them a letter stating that the extension is in process, but still we don't know. ??? Some help or consolation words please...... :) NOP CODES are 2154, 2231, 2253

lromero28:

Call AINP's number and explain your situation to them and see what they suggest. Sometimes they do provide useful advice, not always, but sometimes.

Don't worry you should be fine.

Cheers,

Hi EVeryone,

I am intending to apply in this category and need some help. I read in this thread about preassessment which I don't seem to find any where over the internet. I read the FAQs too, but didn't find it there either. Could someone direct me to a specific website/document where I can find information about how to apply for pre-assessment?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Pre assesmsnt was initially done and later on AINP has changed the procedure, No more pre assess. Go to AINP official web site and look for Visa category under H1B Visa Holder. It is self explanatory and simple to follow.

Thanks,

One of my friends who had applied for Alberta's resident program from Pakistan in 2008 has been told that his application has been approved and he must prepare again complete application package as per new check list for FSW 1 and send to London VO. Please tell me following:-

1. In how much time can he expect to get the Visa ?
2. Does he need too send original education transcripts or degrees or photocopies ?

Hello everyone, I have one question that makes me blur. So I live in the province of New Brunswick, I will graduate next June in Accounting 2 year program. I am planing to move to Alberta right after graduation and I would like to get into an AINP program after one year of working experience. I found out that under the CEC, there is no more an option for a bookkeeping job under the NOC number 1311. Does that mean with that kind of job I cannot apply under AINP as well? Thanks for your help everyone!
