Status of Application

I am trying to see the status of my application for citizenship but it does not show up anything. Do we see our application only when the application goes in "IN PROGRESS" state?
I am using the ECAS and I applied in Sept

If you applied in September, you probably haven't received AOR yet. If you don't have AOR, you can't track the status of your application.
