Starting a restaurant business with an investor

i wanted to know that, I have been approached by close relative to invest in my restaurant and open a branch in Mississauga. How can I avail this opportunity to create my work permit as a partner in the business as a non Canadian citizen and further lead to my PR. Can anyone Advise me a legal way for this?

The business needs to obtain an approved LMIA if you want to apply for a work permit.

I see, so this like this, I can become a non resident partner, but if I wish to apply for a work permit, I’ll have to go through LMIA process?
