hello everyone ,
im fro pakistan i want to know about visa processing time for spouse as my wife is Canadian (by birth) so how much time it will take for PR processing time ?they sent my app to Islamabad embassy for further processing after approval of sponsorship app, is thrs a diff time period of processes for a Canadian or a PR person???

No. It doesn't matter if your sponsor is a PR or a Citizen when it comes to processing times. The website gives and average of 17 months to process outland application. You should expect that your application will also follow that same course and be done in roughly 17 months, give or take a few weeks/months, depending on the strength of your submitted application.

my wife is native-canadian (aboriginal) so it will help or not?? and they approved the sponsorship app just in 10 days after start processing fro 4th april and they informed my wife on 13th april that ur app is approved and we r sending it to Islamabad embassy for further processing, so wht next??someone told me tht it was a quicker response fro them and it will take like 2,3 months now to process PR app over here , is that right??

It doesn't matter if she is green with purple speckles born Canadian. She is no more special than anyone else. The portion that was already completed was only the assessment of the sponsor. Now the portion of the application dealing with you will begin. For that, the timeline is 17 months (average) Yours may be completed in less or more time. Nobody can say for sure. It really depends on the strength of your application and the caseload of your VO. If there is going to be an interview that can add substantial time to your timeline. If they require more documents that could also require more time. You can expect that you will have to wait, just like everyone else.

First thing let me clear you under new govt all Canadian is Canadian so no matter what your wife is.
Second I don't know what's going on with your case as you said your file transfer to ISB, remain All Pakistani applications transfer to London visa office under spouse case for Pakistani applican't.
Third question about process time it's take from 4 months to 17 months and of any problem may b more.
But now a days average case complete in 9 to 12 months if all documents completed.

yes they hav transferred my app for permanent residence processing to Islamabad embassy and they mentioned that this visa office selected beacus of ur spouse Nationality , and is that not surprising that they have forwarded my case to Islamabad in just 10 days after starting reviewing????

Relay it's shocking for me never seen they forward cases to Islamabad u need seniors advice join the topic.

u will get ur PR card after 50 to60 days thn u can work

If you land as a PR you can work immediately, no permits necessary. You won't be eligible for citizenship for a long while after landing.

Well my all good wishes for you but islbd was one of the visa offices taking 46 months to complete the cases in the past and after that no more spouse cases were sent to islbd. thats y i am wondering that as all the spouse cases are sent to london than y is your case sent to islbd.
