so now the processing time for pak is 21 months?? what the hell is this...hum to 16 maheenay ko ro rahay thay...and now this??

any of you guys that received AOR this year 2011...what does your time line say...are they still telling you 9 months??

21 months have been there for a while and no I haven't heard anyone receiving AOR this year to confirm.

Yes, i agree with you on the straight forward cases...BUT the t21 month time line they give is ONLY for spousal+common law+dependent children applications does not nclude grandparents....

also, i dont think n e body in PK would apply as common law so for us thats just spousal and dependent children sponsorships....but wut i dont understand is...even if straite forward cases are taking 12 mnts...thn y the hell does our AOR say 9 months??

and now im also very curiroius what the 2011 aors are saying...

If your AOR say 9 months they have to honor it in the AOR it those not mention timeline may change for to avoid legal complication they have to honor it but it depend on the person how far your willing to take it which means YOU..

After passing 9months of AOR your attorney should send a friendly legal reminder to cic if not your entitle to take your case legally YOU vrs her majesty the queen but again once you enter legal proccedure like this your file will be on hold and the case can take upto 5 years is it worth it NO.

So my advise email them asking for update only every 3 month and don't be emotional they don't care.

As far as the 21 month period for this quarter is differs to many factor.. One main problem with timeline is parents and grand parents affecting the overall timeline but to be positive spouse cases are 80% done within it's 12 months from AOR.. Its the maximum timeline for straight forward case overall

but AOR nhi mila abhi tak, aab dehko jab ata hai tu tab he pta chly ga k 2011 AOR py timeline mention ha k nhi.
aur haan abi tak meri nazer may tu koi v 2011 AOR wala nhi dehka ess forum py.

hi all
my case also from 2011 as per e-status file received on feb-11-2011 and also medical. i also saw in this forum sometime u don't recieve AOR i don't know is that right or wrong. if v don't receive AOR how v know that what time line they will process the case?

please keep update who applied in 2011.

Since October 2010 they have stopped sending AORs. I have no idea what the logic is. Maybe they are trying to be more efficient by cutting out meaningless steps. On the other hand, maybe things have become so much slower that it is now taking them over 6 months just to send an AOR!

To All Those who have the Spousal Sponsorships in process and their sponsors either husband or wife are Permanent Residents of Canada and not the Citizen of Canada must know this absolute requirement that:

The Sponsor must be living in Canada at the time the Application is sent to CPC Mississauga and at the time a Permanent Resident visa is issued to his wife or her husband.


So if your PR sponsor is living here in Pakistan until your case is finalized, then be ready for refusal. Also be aware that there is no appeal if you are refused due to this requirement. You will have to re-apply again starting from zero.

Canadian Citizens who are sponsoring their spouse, however, do not need to fulfill this requirement.
