ADVO processing time have been changed to 19 months :( :( :(

I noticed that the processing time for the office list has been increased. Morocco was 9 months, now it is 14

I don't think we need to worry much about the processing times. They are for past one year and may not be accurate with current applications. In past few months I noticed there were applicants who were getting PR within 6-7 months when the processing time on website for ADVO was 13 months. so let's just pray that our application is correct the first time and goes to PPR soon :)

What it means is that up to 19 months if our applications are not completed, nobody would left a finger, it means that if we complain, or try to inquire about our applications, they'd say it has not been 19 months yet, you'll have to wait. It seems all other VO times have increased drastically.

Yes you are right, but from what I have read in other forums is that many are speculating that its some sort of mistake, I hope it is. The worst is for Lebanon, it has gone up to 64 months! All I meant was that if our applications are correct the first time, we might get lucky and get PPR soon and not wait till 19 months are over.

Let's just hope and pray, that if the processing timelines has been changed and added up several months/years due to massive applications received which resulted to backlogs, applications which are already processed or has been started to be processed wont be affected especially for cases who were just waiting for PPR... l mean where paperworks or documentation has been or almost done.

Most probably, the changes in processing times might affect the incoming or newly received applications.. Hoping for the best!! ;)

Does anyone know the requirement of Iqaama validity for applying spouse case though Abu Dhabi office. Does girl has to has valid Iqaama for next 6 months or a year for filing case.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

no worries about iqama expire date as he is Pakistani citizen and as per my experience now days all Pakistani citizens who are living in middle east, they forward their file to London visa office i/o Abu Dhabi. Same like me i am living in Dubai and my file transferred to London.

Thanks Sarim for the reply

Hi All,

I have been reading out all the comments lately and is it really true that all the applications now for Dubai residents who are pakistani nationals will be sent to LVO

I am just too scared abt it. :-[
