hi everyone,

i have been approved to sponsor my husband, and the application been forwarded to abu dahbi office in December 31,2014 and the cic updated online status to in process in May 26,2015,
back in April 29,2014 we applied for visitor visa for him unfortunately they just refused it stating we have an application in process that is very close to finalization! : any clue please let me know from anyone's experience

Yes our lawyer sent an email on 7th July but no response. I have no idea why they are delaying so much while normal time for visa stamping is just 10 days. Now Eid is very close. My family wanted to visit home country to see parent but looks like they are in stuck abu dhabi due to passport delay.

If my wife will visit Canadian Embassy personally then can she get her passport back?

Did anyone receive his/her passport personally from Canadian embassy?

I would like to know who else is waiting for his/her passport after visa stamping?

Yes, My wife submitted her passport on 10th of June 2015. Visa was stamped on 9th of July. She received her passport on 13th of July by Aramex in Abu Dhabi. For Pakistani citizens it takes 30 days at least. Allhamdollilah.

Any body knows if pakistani citezen requires transit visa for UK when going to Canada fopr landing first time.

Hi All,

I have a question about submitting the passport for PR visa.

My sister got her PPR from ADVO and the PPR letter indicates the following:

"Submit your passport(s) along with the required documents in person or by courier to a Canadian Visa Application Center (VAC) nearest you."

So my sister is wondering if it's possible to submit her passport for the visa stamping to the VAC in Jordan (since she is there right now) instead of UAE.

I think that she wouldn't need a visa
