Hello ajwa - Usually there is a 3 month period after your sponsorship approval, that ADVO may ask for ADR. During this time if they haven't asked for anything, then just hang in time and you will get a request from them soon. All the best.

Hi all,

I finally got my passport back and here's my experience. I sent my PP on 20/10 and it reached the Embassy on 21/10 and the 10 working days got over on 2/11 yet I hadnt heard from ADVO so I sent an email on 6/11. And again emailed them on 9/11, 10/11, submitted a Case Specific Enquiry on 12/11 and when ASBA got a response regarding their PP on 13/11, I sent them an email again and my husband too requested the MP in Canada to enquire on 14/11. And I sent another email on 16/11 and didnt get a reply to any of my enquiries. So I personally went to the Embassy this morning at 9:30 and explained to them saying that its almost a month since I submitted my PP and I'm travelling this Thursday so they asked me to come back at 2:30 pm to collect my PP and I also received back the photographs we submitted and COPR. The visa was stamped on 6/11 and I dont know why they didnt return the PP back, but I am glad that this is all over!

Hey guys!, got our first set of notes, I am worried because one of the notes says I left one date blank! It was the date when my husband returned to Canada from Dubai because he visited me here. I rechecked the form this morning and I saw the date was there...maybe they missed it from their end? really dont know!!! do you think I will resend the form?

There is also another statement there saying...the relationship appears bonafide...

Yes it was quite a stressful situation as I couldnt help wondering why I didnt receive my passport back after the 10 working days they had initially mentioned. I sent my passport with Aramex courier from Dubai and I had included the return AWB too. I didnt ask them why the delay coz I was relieved when I got my passport in hand and nothing else mattered. I apologised for the repeated emails I sent and they apologised for the delay in returning the passport. The Officer smiled and said congratulations and that felt good.

Aramex is tooooo slow ..sent passport on 16th from Riyadh and it still says thats its in transit

Does that form included on the additional document/s requested? If not, then wait till they ask you to submit the same.. What other details you can see on the notes? Are they done with the security checks?

Our dates are very close. Just wondering how long it took for you to get the notes?
By the way, our ecas status was changed to in process a couple of days Ago. Has yours changed too?

It was changed on the 15th. And yes they had asked for additional docs on sept 21. We sent in the docs on October 8th.
