Hi,

Does anyone know, when you get your PR Visa Stamped - What is the time frame before which you must land in Canada ? Is it 6 months ?

Generally the PR visa is issued with a validity until the expiry of the Medicals. Like Teaya_ram got the visa which was valid only for a month and a half as the Medicals was expiring by then. If you do the Medicals after ADVO requests you to do it, then they wld issue the visa which wld be valid for almost a year as your Medicals was done recently.

Hope the above makes sense.

Today ADVO asked for Police Certificate for my husband ( for the past 3 months) , they've requested them only for Saudi not Pakistan. I guess it's good news, I'm desperately waiting now for PPR. Medicals were done yesterday, please pray for us!

Hello all, I am filling immigration forms for spouse sponsorship and having a confusion with additional family information form. My wife is principal applicant. As a sponsor Do I still need to fill out the additional family information form for my self?

Just an update. We recieved AOR from abu dhabi vo along with ADR. For some reason, they need us to send them the Schedual A along with travel history for both applicant and sponsor. We had sent the application completed with this information but now they want it again.?

Hi ARAD,

What date did you receive the AOR/ ADR from ADVO? Did they request only for Schedule A and travel history or were there other documents requested?

I think other members too were asked to submit the above documents again even though they included them in the initial application. Not sure why they would ask them again. Do submit the documents requested and make sure you havent missed out anything including any time period.

Hi Nainanaina,

You may ask your sponsor to call the Call Centre in Canada and ask them about your application. Maybe they could help by giving you some information that is updated on their system.
