Although a silent follower, I have never felt any less than an avid member; there was always someone or some post to connect to, all the time. And so, much anticipation and by the Grace of the Almighty we just received my husband's PP back with the visa counterfoil!

To everybody in this forum, thanks for always being so supportive to one another. They say a friend in need is a friend indeed and this forum is proof that there still are good people left in this world, who are determined to pull through an interminable wait with such generosity and support!

Today my online status changed from "application received" to "In process", getting really excited and hopefully will hear something within a day or two right? i checked the spreadsheet and usually people receive the decision as soon as the online status changes.

Could anybody let me know how long it will take them to issue the stamps once they request the passport?

Its not sure depends on case to case basis if ur security checks got completed u may recieve copr request

I don't wanna be the one who bursts your bubble, but I've noticed that you and I have the same time line approximately. and my Ecase status have changed to "In process" on 17/02 but still no news.

Ps: I hired a representative who is a certified Canadian representative and knows way more than what the CIC website tells you.

Asim is right !!! It depends upon case to case basis. However, per experience and if all the documents were in order, you could expect the PPR within 30 to 120 days. Wishing you good luck !!!

My apologies for missing out your earlier note.
My wife became PR on 12.03.2012
ADVO asked me via email to submit the application package on 20.04.2013
I Submitted my Application package ( without the PCC) on 18.07.2013
ADVO asked for original PCC from Kuwait as well as Pakistan on 24.02.14
Medical Request received on 14.03.14
Medical Done 22.03.2014
Medical Received at the VO on 01.04.2014

If you have submitted your medicals with your application, please give me the date you did your medicals so I may update the same.

I have a question to all the people who have received a request from ADVO for additional documents...... does the status in your Ecas show that you have been sent a request for additional documents or stays the same as "In process" ??

I received ADR on 8th April and was given a time frame of 45 days to submit the documents. So far my ECAS has 2 lines, we have received your application dated xxxxx and medical results have been received.

Probably once they process your application after receiving your additional documents, your status changes to "in process". Not sure though as some applicants have received PPR alongwith the ADR.
