Hi Aism.abbas,

In your letter for ADR, did ADVO mention how long they would take after submitting the additional documents?

Yea they asked me to submit within 45 Days. I did it in 20 days.

I called CIC here in canada too yesterday. She told me I should be getting updates this month but if I didn't get I have to call them again middle of March. How's your application on CAIPS notes?

Hi all, in my wife’s case, additional documents were requested on 3rd February along with the invitation letter for medical + PCC request letter form Saudi. We had a major issue obtaining the PCC from Saudi Arabia. According to CIC website, we have to wait for the request letter from Canada immigration, we received that on 3rd feb and we called the Saudi Embassy in UAE. They said they don’t assist non foreigners in obtaining the PCC so they asked us to call our country visa office in Saudi. We did that, and the country visa office said they only assist residents with a valid visa in Saudia. So we called the Saudi embassy to request for an appointment to explain the situation and see if they are willing to help us. Saudi Embassy was extremely rude and didn’t provide us an appointment. When I called the CIC help line, they asked us to send a letter explaining the situation. From the info we gathered, they only issue PCC for current Saudi residents. It was a nightmare, but we sent a cover letter explaining our efforts with proof. We are waiting for an answer. The online status shows they received medical results but nothing about the PCC. Anybody in the same situation?

Thanks.

Hi i have been to one of the consultants in Burdubai called "premiers" i know they are bad i didnt process my application through them. However i was having issues to get the police certificate from the Kazakhstan and he told me that there were many cases in which applicant was not able to produce police certificate from saudi Arabia and it was waived off but you have to provide enough evidences that you tried you level best and was not still able to get.
Phone calls
emails and replies.
And if you can provide any written evidence that why its hard to produce.
Best of luck.

HAve a look here as well http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pls-help-how-to-get-police-clearance-from-saudi-arabia-t85892.15.html

OK, I hope so too...Ihope you will hear ggood news too...

I hope we all hear good news soon!

The telephone number of the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi is an automated line and you can't reach any operator/officer. If you need to check your application's status, you would need to write to them or contact your MP or order for notes.

The previous applicants have gotten their visa within 6 months to 1 year of sending the application and I really hope they keep up to that speed.
