we applied for this around the 5th of february... got it on the 7th of march.. basically expect 15-20 working days... and my wife and reviewed it and its very clear that they already "requested" for my passport along with some supporting documents.. clearly, we didn't get it... i dunno where they are sending these requests.. will keep u guys posted..

is there any payment if you want to request for CAIPS notes?

Thats weird and sad that you never get their request.did u give them your email address?and did u ever send them email to know the status?sad because you been waiting and they already requested your passport. I hope I'm not gonna experience like this.its a waste if time

i know!! this is not the first time they did this to me... they keep saying that they've been sending me requests but i never got any... its soo frustrating... if everything that they claimed was true, i'd be in Canada before summer 2013... waste of money, time, effort...

I know its a waste of time and frustrating...did u sent them email to follow us your application?check your spam email maybe its there.

yea waste of time but can you please define the whole procedure to get those CAIPS notes you should be in Canada or can be done.
Also i get the email from them in G mail Spam check your spam folder and if you have copies of your filled forms check your email address(I know that everyone fills the form with super care however checking wont hurt)
Do you have UCI no. or File no. to check the status online if yes what is shows.

Also please can you describe when did you receive the passport request according to CAIPS.
This info will help us all and best of luck.

this guy gives detailed steps for how to request for one... i used his guidelines and it worked for me... i chose option 2 on his list (Thru a Friend/Relative) cause my wife is in canada... you also need to sign/fill required forms... both my wife and i had to fill 1 form each and my wife submitted them from Canada to Mississauga's office... took them about 17 working days...

as for my emails, trust me bro, i have been checking both inbox and spam folders EVERYDAY of all my active email IDs (needless to mention that it includes the one that I specified in my application)... trust me if i had gotten anything from them, I would have known... besides, it also mentions in the CAIPS notes how they sent one of their requests to a wrong email ID...

as for my PPR, apparently they requested for it in october 2014 and it was due the next day it was requested for... which is very strange...

That is quiet strange honestly First world countries do that mistake however did you check the status online.
or you didnt ever recieved UCI or File no as well.

nope.. didn't get my UCI or whatever its called... I only found out that I even had a UCI when i looked at my CAIPS notes... mind you, the work that they are doing are not first world country ppl btw... they are probably cheap paid interns (or most likely unpaid) working on our files in AD who didn't even finish their universities... i mean the way they draft their email is also unprofessional... i couldn't make any sense of what they were trying to say in one of the emails i got from them (the ONE email that i got from them if i may add)... my status online has been 'in progress' since october last year which reminds me that i have been using my file number to check my status... maybe i should use my UCI this time and see if the results are different... hmm... thanks for boosting my thought process... cheers...

after additional documents asked is there any chance for rejection ???

there are always chances of being rejected... however, the chances of getting rejected lessens as ur case keeps progressing...
