guys... need some help here... here's a section of my CAIPS notes where i THINK they are asking for my passport:

ITEMS REQUESTED: 1
Created Date: 2013-10-21
Created by: XX
Updated Date: 2013-10-22 04:00:38
Updated by: XX
Item: Passport/travel document
UCI: 90063871
Comments: COND 1. Employment reference letter (original copies) issued on official letterhead with translation if necessary from your current employer, XX, which provide the following details: job title, responsibilities, and dates of employment. 2. updated Qatar PC.
Due date: 2013-10-21

as you can see, the 'creation date' and the 'due date' are both same... so its confusing.. i am not sure if i should be sending them my passport with the additional documents they asked for or not.. last thing i want is losing my passport... i never got ANY sort of email or by mail from them asking for any of this.. only found out last week when my CAIPS notes arrived... apparently this request was sent in OCT last year... i know we have to wait.. but i am really not interested in waiting just because of mere miscommunication... any suggestions?

aright... thanks a lot buddy... cheers...

Ok Guys now I have a strange question
I didn't define any postal code on my application, I don't have any and if CIC tries sending me any letter through Postal code I wont receive on the mailing address as there is no service in UAE for home address delivery.

Should I give my company address as a mailing address with postal code i didn't do it cause i don't want my company to know about my migration to Canada.

I am receiving emails from the VO Abu Dhabi.

i have a feeling they don't mail you stuff anyway... their primary method of communication is email... also, if you have been successfully interacting them via email, i think u're good... i put my work mail in my application too, now i wish i didn't have mentioned it and had given them only my email... goes without saying, i never received anything from them via the regular postal mail...

that's great! phone call is what i prefer too... emails are bloody damn useless... well at least for me so far... i just emailed them today explaining my situation and asking for a confirmation of the things me and my wife found out from the CAIPS notes... i have a feeling they will just luk at it and ignore... anyhow... gonna try calling the MP soon... all i wanna ensure is if my visa thingy is issued or not.. what i fear the worst is that they might have issued it and i passing the deadline and me having to re-apply... cause what i recently learned is that once they issue the visa and it gets too delayed, there is no other way to re-issue it... u have to apply again and pay the fee and do the wait-game all over again.. my worst nightmare... dun want that to happen..
