Guys i got a phone call interview from VO yesterday and thanks to God she talked to me on our native language "Filipino" and basically she asked about our application and she said that she has no doubt that our relationship is genuine.

We are applying on a "Conjugal Sponsorship" because as far as we know we cannot get married in the Philippines because he was married there before migrating to Canada and become naturalized Canadian and got a divorced. VO informed me that Philippines Law do not apply to my sponsor since he became Canadian already and got divorced so basically he can go to Philippines anytime and get married. VO sent me an email and requesting for the following:

- Additional Testimonials from your and your sponsor's friends and family.

- Additional proof of money transfers.

- Please provide a narrative of your plans for the future should your application be approved or refused.

Does it mean that our application might be refuse? because VO knows that we can get married in Philippines or anywhere?
Or if my sponsor and I will get married soon, what will happen to our application?are we going to reappply again as a "Spouse Sponsorship"

Im so confused right now and need some advice guys please

Think positive, they give opportunity to someone like you to applied conjugal sponsorship right?so it means its OK as long as u both in love to each other and have a proof that ur relationship is genuine. Pray always and give them the documents that they are asking.

Question: Email id for sponsor or sponsored:

I am filling up the forms from Riyadh. I would like to ask members the following:

a) what is the appropriate means of communication channel with Abu Dhabi VO. I read somewhere that hard copy communication is way better since we have proof etc. Should we mention email addresses in the forms? What are your experiences.
b)If we mention email address, shall we be receiving emails and hard copy mails both?
c) Any other relevant adivse w.r.t. email addresses.

.

Base on what I read here in this forum ,some get it in 7 days and some 15 days.

Has anyone (a Canadian who is applying a sponsorship visa) visit the embassy at abu dhabi and inquired to speak to a visa officer. Can you please share your experience and let me know if they answered your questions such as what is the status for the visa you applied for etc...

thanks,
