robotixmind did you include your medical when you submitted your application? My case is i did not include medical when we submitted our application and decided to wait for the request from AUH Embassy.

Does it take time for AUH Embassy to send request of medical?

I want to know who is responsible on changing the ecas status?is it the AUH Embassy? or the CIC?

and what do you mean by " I heard that CIC now sends only one document when transfer your file. " ?

1- I sent the medical along with my application.
2- I looked at various posts on forum where ppl say that they got only one letter after first approval and than second they heard for passport request.

Once they start looking at your file, they will send you a request for medical.
ECAS update depends on which steps is your application. CIC and AUH VO both can update your status online.

On my ECAS it says

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2013.

Meaning they just received our application but they have not open it yet to start the process?

hi robotixmind!

thanks for your posts... can you tell me approximately how long it takes for people to hear back from CIC once they submit their application along with their medical? and u also said they receive a letter after their first approval... what kind of letter is that and how long does that take for them to send?
