Ecas is still says Application Received But they requested some document on Feb 06 from my husband & me and I was with my husband in ksa we submit his part with in month but it took a while me to come back & file my tax for 2012, BECAUSE they ask for notice of assessment, exit stamp, ticket & boarding pass. I already submit all these document lets see how long they will take more

Hi All,

First of all I hope that you all be united with your husband / wife very soon Insha Allah.

My wife got a request to send her passport for the visa few days ago, and she will also need to cancel her gulf residency before moving to Canada.
Do you guys know if she has to do that before she send the passport or after she gets the visa??!!
I'm just concerned regarding any delays in sending the passport back, so I would like not to do any travel arrangements including cancelling the residency until she have the passport back

Do you think this will be an issue?
