I just received AOR from AUH VO, along additional documents required list.

I can arrange everything else without a problem except for one thing. I've been asked to get a PCC from Jakarta, Indonesia as I did my grade 12 over there (spent 1 yr). Even though I did not stay in Indonesia for more than 6 months after turning 18. I don't have the required documents to get a PCC from indonesia and it's worrying me. Can anyone here help me with getting a pcc from jakarta plz



The other thing I wanna confirm is that the VO hasn't asked me to give a UAE PCC even though the one I previously gave is expired. Also, as I mentioned, I renewed my visa cuz it expired in Feb is also not being demanded by the VO. Should I send these 2 documents along the other requested documents to the VO to be on the safe side?

As I told you before if you stay more then 6 month in any country they will ask you PCC, easy way to get PCC just get request letter from embassy and apply it. For UAE PCC you already submit when you applied and may be they already check your UAE background, now they want rest of the country. I suggest you without wasting time email VO to send you request letter for those countries and apply as soon as you can they only give you 45 days for this process other wise you file will be delay.

Hi Guys,

I just posted this timeline of my application yesterday... And today unbelievable things happens.... I just receive a passport request from Abu Dhabi visa office for the final processing of my visa..The letter says my visa is ready for issuance and I should send my passport and photos within 30 days..So here is my updated timeline now..Base from it took only 4-5 months for my application to be processed that was unexpected..Until now I cant believe it...

Nov. 22, 2012-Application Sent

AOR Recieve (CIC Ca.)- Nov. 26, 2012

Sponsorship Approved- Dec. 27, 2012

PR status changed to in-process (Abu Dhabi)-Feb. 24, 2013

Passport request-March 26, 2013

Further, i just wana know that me and my wife can enter Canada togather? secondly do we need to mention or prrof of evidence that we have sufficient funds with us?

check your expired passport they ask same thing from my husband and we just gave notarize copy of passport entry and exit stamp from his expired PP But why they are asking now? these record always goes when you applied. : Can you share your request letter with us.

Do you advise us getting notarized copy of passport pages and sending them as a record? Will it suffice? Btw, I went to the Immigration in Dxb today to get the record but they refused to issue it altogether.

I also went to the Indonesian embassy today to inquire abt the PCC. They were of little help. In any case, I don't have the 2 main documents necessary to get pcc from Jakarta. This can only be obtained from within the country :S
The consulate agreed to stamp an affidavit to mark the duration of my stay in indonesia instead of promising a PCC. I'm thinking I'll use an affidavit instead of PCC as a last resort. What do you suggest? Do you think not providing the exact docs required by VO will cause unnecessary delays?

seems to me you missed lot of document when you applied. Have you received request letter for PCC in your mail if you have then they easily provide you. If they are asking Entry and exit stamp for applicant then yeah you have to notarize if not then just send it copy of it, one more thing for sure you have deadline for 45 days if you thing you cant manage during this time email VO office and ask for extra time they will extend one more month. I am not sure about Affidavit but you can email VO and ask for it. Yeah vo put your file on hold once they ask for additional documents.

My spouse has a dependent, he just turned 18!
he is NOT accompanying him to canada, does anyone know the advantage of dependent accompanying or not !
do I have to do separate form for him, is he going to be called for medical reports!
