Hi guys! I am reading these posts on PAFSO's FB page that if nothing happens by this September, PAFSO will be obligated to go back to work regardless of their terms being met or not. Does anyone know anything about this?

guys! question... I understand that AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt. But I don't know how I should apply it to my case. My wife (my sponsor) received a letter from Ottowa office (on Jan 22, 2012) saying that she qualified to become my sponsor and that my file will be sent to Abu Dhabi's office. On ecas, it also says they have received my application and medical results (on Jan 27, 2912). But should I consider that letter as AOR or should I be receiving the AOR from Abu Dhabi's office? Because if I am supposed to wait for a letter frm A/D's office, than it has already been 6 months and I haven't received one. I heard it only takes a month or so typically. Should I be concerned?

I know how you feel.its hard.thats not AOR.i think its first stage approval.CIC here sent me a letter to last october 2012 and letting me know that im qualified for PR and they will contact my husband in abu dhabi.

maybe there will be a conflict if you apply for a visit visa on top of your family class PR.. but check visit visa related forum page for that...
