Hi rabbit,
on my e-cas, it says that sponsorship's decision is made (approved) and for the permanent residence, it says application received. When I click on permanent residence, it says 'Medical results have been received.'

I don't know if they will update the permanent residence side to in process? Do you know if they will?

Did they sent you individual immigration number/file number? if yes check ur Ecas under that ID

I checked both numbers (file and permanent residence) and an error screen showed up.

I don't think they're processing my application yet.

What about you guys? When you put in your file number, do you guys get to see your application status?

btw did you guys hear about the strike? I just checked on CIC right now :S

Hello guys,

I am going to sponsor my spouse through Abu Dhabi office, I am collecting our papers and since im a Quebec resident, I have to get the federal papers ready as well.

Now I need to submit the sponsorship application to Mississauga first and then only I can apply for Quebec Selection certificate. What im wondering is that, do I submit the complete application (Including the application for permanent residence of my spouse) when im submitting sponsorship application to Mississauga? Or do I send the initial documents required only for stage 1 sponsorship and wait till VO request the rest of the papers such as PR application, background declaration, medical, PCC ect

OK! So from my research, Abu Dhabi has not been affected by the strike (ALHUMDULILLAH).

Now, I just hope our process proceeds faster =( We've all been waiting too long.

They're having a strike because foreign officers are not being paid as much as gov employees in Canada.

I tried to check the file number that was given to me in the AOR [the number that begins with B]. I put in my info as well as my spouse's and information is still not showing up :S What does it say when you check with the file number/immigration number?
