I received an interview for my wife from the Abu Dhabi office.. on July 23-2013

My question is after a successfully interview how long does it take them to issue the visa?

My Timeline

File send on Jan-29th-2013
Filed transferred on Feb 19th
Asked for additional doc in March
Request for an Interview on June 19th for July-23-13

According to this Spreadsheet they will take about a month, but why they set interview for you? ur timeline shows ur case is smooth are u or ur wife is previously divorced ? sorry to ask you this question because in spreadsheet there was two people who had same thing.

Hi Seeuu thank you for you response.. I have check your spreadsheet and yes my wife was previously divorced.

I'm going to Dubai next month to be with her for the interview and I was hoping that they would give her the Visa on the spot as all my documents are good and cleared

Is your E-cas is "In process" or Application Received ? the reason am asking you because they mostly take one or two months after "In Process" Status IN SHA ALLAH every thing will be fine no need to worry.

It says Application Received but when I click on it.. it says interview scheduled for 23 july...
I'm not worries Mashallah everything happened so fast.. but I just wish I could bring her back with when I return to Canada...

Hello Guys,

My wife is Canadian and she is sponsoring me and we have submitted the application from Saudi Arabia, then we moved to Canada and Canceled our residency in Saudi Arabia, since I have a Visitor Visa to Canada. Now we are living togother in Canada.

I am Waiting for my PR and I lost many Job offers becuase of my Visitor status and I am not elgible to work in Canada.

I was following this forum since a while and it was very helpful, I went to the MP as advised and checked my application status, and have been informed that backgroud check is under process.

here is my application timeline based on the ECAS, please add it to the excel sheet:

Date Applied -- July 30, 2012
Sponsorship Approval -- Oct 12, 2012
AOR Received/Doc Request -- Dec 24, 2012
Medical Results have been Received
Started Processing the application on April 9, 2013

May 5, 2013 received an email asking JUST one Quesion..!!! "- Please clarify the time you spent in Canada. "

I replyed and explained that I am in Canada living with my wife since Nov 14, 2012 (almost 6 months)

Please adivse how much shall I expect to get my PR, and did anyone recieve such a question from Abu Dhabi Visa office previously.

your case is different, but if you have already visit visa on ur passport how they will issue another one am confuse, and they ask all these question to everyone once they sent AOR you is bit different because you are visitor. I am canadian citizen & when they sent AOR also they required Questioner from both of us how we introduced? plus my husband's PCC and my tax file for 2012 which I submit by March and May 21 & now I back to KSA, if they ask you for interview how you will be back as you mention you applied from KSA ? If your case is under background check might be in july they can make decision IN SHA ALLAH, I will add you in excel. when was your medical done?

okay and what will i put in the date? from the start i become resident till now or whatever is written in my IQAMA...

iqama changes every year, you have to check ur passport where they put entry stamp and then u have to count how many year or months. if its more then six months they will ask you later for police clearance.
