Hi mohammedessam, you mean you sent the requested documents through case specific enquiry only and did not send the original copy of the documents? Because in my case it's the original hard copies of the requested documents that they stated have not been received since it was requested July 2015. That's why I sent an email through case specific enquiry reiterating that I have already sent the documents attaching the proofs that I have, especially the screenshot of the ARAMEX delivery history.

I will try to call ADVO tomorrow and clarify the situation and for me to know what action can they extend with my case. Thank you for the advise. I hope we can overcome this situation and resolve the problem.

Your best option at this time is to contact your MP as they will not reply to phone calls and emails.

October 5,2016: Sent to VFS qatar
October 6,2016: Passport has been sent to Abu Dhabi Canada for processing via VFS Tracker.

Thanks lets consolidate and pray for one another. Nothing is impossible with God and praying and believing people.

Hi Sokara,

You are still there. Someone is filtering and sorting the sheet and not returning it to it's original state....

if everyone could sort the sheet by Date app Rec'd by CPC M (ascending) when they are finished it would really help.

hello!!

today morning my husband got a request for the passport!! letter states they are nearing the end of finalizing and that they need the passport. Does that mean we don't need interview? mycic says review of eligibility is still in progress and background check is still in progress.

For some reason they have put my home address in canada under my husbands name on the letter, even though he is in qatar. they asked to let them know if there is any address changes. i think i need to write to them to clarify that that address is my home address but he is currently in qatar.

after sending 2 photos and his passport to the nearest VAC office, how long does it normally take to get the passport back? any idea anyone?

Congratulations!!! I wouldn't worry about the address on the letter because when he lands, he will be asked to indicate his address in Canada (to where the PR card will be mailed). We submitted our passport through the Dubai VAC office and it took about 1 month to get back from them. We sent it through them and paid the small extra fee to to have it couriered to my husband's office when it was returned.

Note the date that is provided on the visa when you receive the passport back. The deadline for landing is usually the medical expiry date but I believe the visa expiry date is the absolute date you must land by. Also, I wouldn't recommend cancelling your visa etc until you get the passport back and you know when you are planning to land .
